Still Time

Last night, where the sky was clear, was peak viewing of the Perseid Meteor Shower. The annual show always gives a second night.

The Christian Science Monitor published a tip. Because the full moon this year would diminish darkness for viewing streaking meteors, sound could help: not any sound but frequencies on the FM band.

The CSM article has a link to listen to a "ping" one meteor caused as well as how-to explanations for this at-home radio-astronomy.
