Yesterday: Landing; Last Night: First Color Pic

Curiosity landed on Mars yesterday. Today its MAHL camera sent the first color image. Arstechnica noted that Curiosity has 17 cameras (the first one showed its descent on to the Red Planet). Pics are not its mission; they support its mission: “Curiosity’s primary mission is to determine whether Mars has, or has ever had, an environment capable of supporting life.” Read about its mission and cameras.
