Timely Toast


In yesterday’s Catholic New York Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York, recounted his toast at the “glittering banquet for those chosen by Time magazine as ‘The 100 Most Influential People in the World.’” He prefaced it by sharing the preparation he received. It revealed the persistent misunderstanding (among Christians, too) that Jesus is a dead person of the past.
