Prayer Press

If time wrestles prayer away or laziness trumps effort given to prayer, taking a couple pages from the Chicago Jesuit Academy examen-book may turn things around.

The Chicago Jesuit Academy is a college-prep, middle school. So clarity is key to teaching 12-year- olds to pray and everything else. Jesuit Jerry Petrich says of his colleague, who teaches the examen at the Academy, “his method works as well for this easily distracted 27 year old as it does for his students.” Check it out; includes link to the two-page method.
