Keeping Whole

Keeping body and soul together is an expression meaning, to survive. A enduring question is, “How do body and soul relate?” The hope is that they a friends. So the English poet,
Richard Crashaw, described them in a poem describing the end of life. Sport—“physical play”—as author, B.G. Kelly, maintains can make and keep them friends.
Physical play and exercise can help us stay connected to God and the world. This can lead to a physical and spiritual ripening rather than a rotting.
