Egyptian in Somalia

"I should be where I’m needed.” Those are the words of Egyptian Dr. Omar Saleh, who has been serving in Somalia since 2007. He continued:
“And this is where I’m needed. I’m a trauma surgeon. This is a conflict. Trauma is everywhere. I must be there,” he told the UN News Centre by telephone.
Dr. Saleh is convinced although "he never imagined he would be" doing what he is doing. After the two-minute video, read the UN News Centre post to celebrate World Humanitarian Day last Friday and learn more about Dr. Saleh.
